What is the Good Business Charter?

Brightech Construction Ltd is a proud member of the Good Business Charter (GBC) alongside companies such as Aviva, Capita and Eversheds Sutherland.

The GBC is an accreditation that businesses can earn to demonstrate their commitment to ethical and responsible business practices in a world where such matters are more vital than ever.

The Good Business Charter is available to all companies, charities and public sector organisations across all industries and sectors and each applicant must meet the 10 required components to be awarded the accreditation.

The 10 components are:

1. Real living wage
2. Fairer hours and contracts
3. Employee well-being
4. Employee representation
5. Diversity and inclusion
6. Environmental responsibility
7. Paying fair tax
8. Commitment to customers
9. Ethical sourcing
10. Prompt payment

At Brightech, we feel it’s important to show our dedication to working towards a brighter, fairer and more hopeful future in the world of business. We want to prioritise everyone who contributes to our company, from consumers to suppliers and staff, as well as be sustainable in our environmental practices.

So we’re delighted to be able to say we’re members of the Good Business Charter, which includes over 500 other companies and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.
